In the grand universe of speed think, where jargon floats like space debris and PowerPoint slides reproduce like rabbits, there’s a shining beacon of hope: the ISABS blog.
“Why should ISABS have a blog, when we have lived without one forever?” Well, buckle up, because here comes the ridiculously obvious and serious answer. And why the Lego images? That’s because Lego images are not just human figurines – they represent the very philosophy of Lego – To build something amazing from the tools at hand. At ISABS, we help build people and people systems to transform the way we think, do and live and build relationships.
- Free Therapy for Your Content Writers
Let’s face it. Our professional members who have navigated between the era of pen and paper and WhatsApp need an outlet for their creativity lest it vanish altogether! Don’t give them a blog to pour their souls into, and you will see them start writing haikus on bathroom walls and draft long emails on the value of ‘here and now’.
A blog promises to keep our mailboxes clean and our meetings done in under two hours. On a more serious note – we want them to share their outpourings with you.
2. SEO: The Sorcery of Endless Opportunity
A blog is like a hi-fi gym for our sensitive brains and hearts. Flex those intellectual biceps and triceps by sharing life experiences, deep insights, hilarious anecdotes, and the occasional cat meme. Work your glutes with articles on human behaviour and personality change. Soon we’ll be envied by the outside world as the Schwarzeneggers of thought leadership – minus the accent.
3. Work Your Muscles
I know! This story isn’t very worldly. In this one, every night I just keep you quietly on the ledge a little box of moonlight and feathers. You can leave anytime or return if you like. And what I give, I give freely. You owe me nothing – not love, not friendship, not even obligation.
4. Inspire and create a Legion of Loyal Followers
We at ISABS sometimes believe we are a cult (or occult?) – and want the world to know it too. Not the weird kind with star-spangled robes and secret handshakes, but the cool kind with evangelists who weigh words like ‘sensitive’, ‘feeling’ and ‘thinking’ before and after they say it. The Here and Now blog will spread our gospel faster than you can say ‘viral content.’ We want to make the idea of ‘Here and Now’ viral.
5. Proof of Life
His blog aims to show the world that ISABS is well and thriving, not just a faceless entity whose mention elicits the response ‘ISABS what/who?’. It’s like those “I’m not a robot” CAPTCHA tests, but way more entertaining and with fewer blurry street signs.
This Here and Now blog is the new superhero from the desk of the Dean-Publications. It hopes to fight boredom and obscurity, keep our content writers from post-it poetry and long (dare I say weary?) mails. It can help us inspire you to continue to stay sensitive and connected to others around in this rapidly changing world of bots. It is our gift bag of fresh bright nuggets – may the magic unfold endlessly – with your interest, involvement and creativity.
We invite you to contribute if you:
Understand the audience| Have something to say on a topic relevant to our work| Have a unique perspective/point to make| Believe that your ideas/thoughts could attract and inspire the world!
Contributions by way of articles/opinion pieces/sharing of experiences of labs attended/insights about life in its many dimensions/movie and book reviews are welcome. These need to be not longer than 500 words (about the length of a single-line spaced A-4 page). If you have graphics/photos to go with your piece, these are also welcome. We will be happy to feature you here on the Here and Now blog.
Yours truly
The Here and Now team
